Originally from Philadelphia, Matt attended the College for Creative Studies (CCS) in Detroit and Strate École de Design in Paris, graduating in 2009 with a BFA in Design. At CCS he focused on product and automotive design and won a number of student design awards and scholarships—including the Michelin Design Challenge, Ford Motor Scholarship, and CCS Student Select. Matt then spent several years working for a range of companies, including Hasbro, New Balance, and product design consultancies before joining BOLTGROUP in 2011. A creative problem solver and empathetic researcher, Matt enjoys the entire process of design, including those moments of inspiration that lead to the breakthroughs. His passion is helping clients arrive at solutions that will add value to the world and that their customers will love. Matt is also a lover of the outdoors and is deeply interested in sustainability as part the design process–i.e., leveraging it as a value proposition for both the client’s bottom line and the long-term impact on our planet.
