Kat has always been fascinated with color and has spent 20+ years researching what drives consumer preferences. She is a nationally recognized lifestyle & color trend expert and strategist. Kat has a degree in Industrial Design with a minor in Color Theory from North Carolina State University. From there, she began her career in the consumer electronics industry, eventually using those contacts to start her own color & trend research consultancy working across a variety of clients and industries including HP, Panasonic, Real Player, M&M, Jenn-Air, Pitney Bowes, Evenflo, Coleman, Maytag, American Woodmark, Rubbermaid, Graco, and Lexmark.
