Kara has always been the type of person to think creatively and make things. This passion, and a love for animation and digital artwork, led her to study graphic design in high school where she took various courses. So, when she began studying pharmaceutical sciences it was no surprise that she would eventually veer back towards art for her career.  

Kara graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Appalachian State University. Here, she received education in Branding and Visual Design, as well as a multitude of typography and hand-building skills that she now shares professionally.
