Kenny grew up drawing constantly—most often it was cars inspired by his dad’s love for racing. When he wasn’t drawing, he was helping his dad build custom homes or his grandfather run a sawmill (or sneaking off to sit in the dusty red Triumph tucked away in the barn next door). Coupling his experiences with creativity and craftsmanship together, Kenny found design as a way for exciting new ideas to materialize.

Kenny holds a BS of Industrial Design from Virginia Tech. While in school, he interned with a large tech firm in Austin, Texas, as well as for BOLTGROUP here in Charlotte. Since graduating, Kenny has designed extensively in a wide variety of industries, most notably as the Lead Designer for a highly regarded brand in the outdoor market. He has previously given guest lectures and judged student’s work at various design schools across the country. Kenny lights up at the opportunity to apply fresh perspectives to novel insights and meaningful opportunities.
